Metro Rail Connectivity
Urban railway system has become a very important component of city development tools and almost all cities aspire to have that. This is a symbol of modernisation of any city, and the best mode of public transport for safe, comfortable and fast journey. Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is responsible for development of the area as a modern city consisting of Residential, Industrial and Technical Areas with sufficient green space. YEIDA has proposed metro line connectivity of the YEIDA region with Greater Noida, Noida and Delhi. As part of improving connectivity to the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar, a metro corridor is also being proposed. The improved connectivity is considered to have multiple benefits, like improved industrialization of the region and increased tourism potential.
